South China Sea ruling not recognized under international law

China Daily Updated : 2025-07-21 Large Medium Small Print

"In the South China Sea 'arbitration', the Philippines has completely bypassed the substance of these disputes and initiated unilateral 'arbitration', which is not recognized by international law," said Xu Qi, deputy director of the Foreign-Related Rule of Law School at Jinan University.
