From November 16 to 21, 2015, the fifth East Asia Sea Congress was held in Da-Nang, Vietnam with participation of above 800 representatives from 15 countries and various international organizations. With its theme "Global Targets, Local Benefits", the congress was composed by a Ministerial Forum, and international seminar, and a Youth Forum. There were also a maritime environment exhibition, an annual meeting of the PEMSEA Network of Local Governments (PNLG), a Senior Officials' Meeting on the East China Sea, and other special activities by PEMSEA Committee.
