Patrolling for Law Enforcement

Updated : 2017-03-13 Large Medium Small Print

China's Maritime Surveillance began in 2006 regular patrolling in the South China Sea for rights protection and law enforcement. Since 1994, the Ministry of Agriculture has organized regular fishery vessels to patrol the Nansha waters for law enforcement. From 2010 on, the Ministry of Agriculture changed the development and management of fisheries in Nansha Qundao, strengthened fishery protection and law enforcement, and organized cross-sea fishery fleets for the first time under unified scheduling by the fishery command center for patrolling.
